Qualifications
Camps Fatima and Bernadette employ mature high school students, college students and teachers who can provide a creative camping experience. A staff member should be trustworthy, responsible, enjoy working with kids and act as a good role model. Staff members must be 17 or older. All staff and volunteers have thorough interviews, including criminal background checks.
Counselor Job Description
Counselors live in cabins with a co-counselor and approximately 12 campers. They are responsible for supervising and mentoring the campers in their cabin, while allowing campers their own "space" in which to make friends, pursue personal interests or just relax. Counselors motivate campers and are expected to support and participate in all camp activities. Staff members are assigned to a specific program area on land or waterfront, depending upon their interests and abilities.

Note: You must be 17 or older for all positions. All staff 18 or older applying to Fatima or Bernadette need to have a criminal background check. Please select the appropriate form below, fill it out and mail it all to camp with your staff application. Remember to have your background check forms notarized. The camp pays for all background checks! Do NOT send the background check form to us with any money.
